Below is a list of books I have read, learned from and can recommend. You can access them through Amazon books. These books have made a real difference to me - I am sure they will for you too.
Eckhart Tolle's The Power of Now I loved this book! It was an inspiring discovery of the power of the present moment. This book literally opens the universe of possibilities up to you.
Eckhart Tolle's A New Earth The sequel to the The Power of Now, it can also be read independently of the first book. It is a little more heavy going, yet equally thought-provoking.
Lynn Grabhorn's Excuse Me Your LIFE is Waiting An excellent introduction to the Law of Attraction and how to create what you want by tapping in to the power of your emotional energy. A fun and easy read with a strong inspiring call to action to get what you want - now!
Bob Proctor's You Were Born Rich This book made me hungry for more. A motivating and somewhat philosophical overview of the power of attraction and money.
Anthony Robbins's Unlimited Power If you are in to personal development, you can't go past one of Tony Robbins's books. It is a practical approach to taking control of your destiny by taking control of your thoughts, beliefs, and actions. This guy has energy, and he has the personal results to show you really can make it happen.
Julie Morgenstern's Organising from the Inside Out This is another absolute favourite! Call me weird but I get excited when someone can show me how to get even my handbag organised! I followed her approach in my home and office and am forever sighing with joy at the improved functionality of all my belongings and personal space. A must for anyone who wants to improve productivity.
Julie Morgenstern's Time Management from the Inside Out Just like the Organising book, this a great practical book with tons of great ideas that are easy to implement. Not your stock standard 'time management' re-hash - much better. Well worth it.
Jim Loehr and Tony Schwarz's The Power of Full Engagement- Managing Energy not Time is the Key to High Performance and Personal Renewal A holistic approach to self management with tons of great case studies that resonate. Highly practical for individuals and people who manage staff.
Marcus Birmingham and Curt Coffman's First Break All the Rules:What the World's Greatest Managers Do Differently An inspiring and radical look at the way people manage people. It made a big difference to my own management skills.
Robert Scheinfeld's Busting Loose from the Money Game - Mind Blowing strategies for changing the rules of a game you can't win . It really is a mind-blowing book! He takes the principles of quantum physics and highlights how this actually plays out in your daily life. It gave me conviction that changing the money issues was really a possibility. Definitely worth a read.
Shakti Gawain's Creative Visualisation - Use the power of your imagination to create what you want in your life. This is a classic practical text about how to use the power of your imagination for healing and manifesting what it is you truly desire - more money, better health, more fun. Gawain explains how to visualise, how to use affirations, and how to meditate. An important book for all those interested in the laws of Attraction and personal development.
Deepak Chopra's The Seven Spiritual Laws of Success - A Practical Guide to the Fulfillment of Your Dreams (Based on Creating Affluence). What I love about this book is that it is wisdom distilled to simple, practical actions that you can take to create anything you want. I read this when I need a good simple reminder of who I am at my source -a spiritual being - and how to go about creating what I want, in joy and peace.
Michael Domeyko Rowland's Absolute Happiness - The Whole Untold Story - the way to a life of complete fulfillment. Domeyko Rowland has a heavy emphasis on eastern teachings with a strong pshychological influence as well. The book covers the nature of the mind, the subconscious, as well as the practical application of methods such as meditation and karma yoga. There are some great unique techniques in here.
W. Tomothy Gallwey's The Inner Game of Tennis . This is a well-known classic text dedicated to the aspiring tennis player. However the mind control techniques he shares are applcable to anything you want to master, and in particular how to master the prevalence of negative thoughts and dialogue that are an annoying part of the undisciplined mind. Easy to read. He has also written a few more books such as the Inner Game of Music and the Inner Game of Golf.
Napoleon Hill's Think and Grow Rich. Written in 1937, it is thought to be the book that launched a million millionaires. It is the first compilation of success strategies from the world's richest men at the time. After many years of research, Napoleon distilled the essence of their strategies in to a simple success formula. A must read for all student of personal development.
Dr. Wayne W. Dyer's Inspiration - your ultimate calling. Another wonderful book by Wayne Dyer. Wayne shares some wonderful stories of inspiration in action, as well as how to discover your own spiritual source of inspiration.
Dr Wayne Dyer's The Power of Intention - Learning to Co-Create your world your way I loved this book! It was really exciting, inspiring and practical - how to get everything you ever wanted and feel good about it along the way. A very powerful resource.
